Sparks keeps what it needs to be a notebook, and nothing else.
What is stored
- Your account email, through your 6x7 account.
- The notes and projects you create, and the projects copied from your GitHub repos.
- Your GitHub username.
- A GitHub access token, only if you add one. It is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is saved, and it is never shown again.
- Messages you import, and only the ones you choose to import.
- Your settings, such as your Recall address.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in Supabase, in the EU (Frankfurt). The app runs on Vercel. Your 6x7 account is shared by the apps from 6x7.gr, so one sign-in works across them. Each app keeps its own data.
AI sorting
The Sort with AI button on the Import page sends the messages you selected, and your project names, to Anthropic's Claude API so it can suggest a project and a title. It runs only when you press the button. Nothing is saved until you import.
Cookies and tracking
Sparks uses the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and remember your theme. There are no ads and no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not sell your data.
Your control
In Settings you can export everything as a file and delete all your Sparks data. Deleting it does not close your 6x7 account. To close the account itself, write to us.
